Easy Holiday Updos
We all want to look our best during the holidays with many parties hitting the calendar. Ami Desai is showing us easy and festive ways to style our hair at home for the Holidays.

LOOK #1: BOW BUN

Step 1: Secure your hair in an elastic at the top of your head leaving out any face fringe you’d like to style later for a more undone look

Step 2: Either take a hair donut to create a more polished bun or create a messy top knot by looping hair 3x and leaving out 3-4 inches of hair

Step 3: Swoop remaining hair to the front and tie it with a small clear elastic making a bubble

Step 4: Create bow effect with remaining hair left out and secure with bobby pins

Step 5: add some finishing spray and curl front fringe to complete the look

LOOK #2: HALF UP/HALF DOWN

Step 1: Curl hair to give nice body, similar to a blowout

Step 2: Grab hair at the crown leaving the fronts and sides untouched and secure with an elastic. Top with your bow of choice or any festive ribbon

Step 3: Add some texture spray and back comb to give that nice 60s throwback vibe

Step 4: Finish with some hairspray to secure everything in place
